The art and silliness of it all were my favourite parts! What a simple yet very enjoyable entry. Great work!!

What an awesome entry for just one person! I definitely thought there was a team of 2 or 3 behind this while playing. Your artwork was incredible, and the use of time as a mechanic was great. Great job!

This was a top-tier entry. The levels were appropriately difficult in their scaling, and the story/cutscenes/atmosphere were some of the best I've seen in the jam so far. Great work!

I loved the snappy controls, and your difficulty ramp was really great! Also, the artwork was fantastic. Good job!

I really enjoyed the art, and the movement felt satisfying once I was accustomed to the speed of it. It actually felt great to be able to cover so much ground so quickly. Great job!

I loved the look of the game! Low poly art is so appealing to me haha. Once I got the hang of the controls (I usually invert them from how they are in your game), I was having a lot of fun! Great work!

The hint system would have been perfect! I totally agree with that. In fact, that was my original idea, but my brain fizzled out when trying to think about programming it, so I went with a more simple approach, purely for the sake of saving time. I really appreciate your feedback!

Thanks for giving my game a try! I considered doing the recipe book differently, and one of my ideas was exactly what you mentioned, but I ran out of time unfortunately haha. UI has always troubled me for some reason; I can never quite seem to get it perfect. I will definitely take your feedback into my next game jam!

Thanks again!

Haha great work, chef!

I am really glad you enjoyed it, and I agree that making the player could have really amped things up. Thanks for giving my game a shot, and the feedback!

I enjoyed the music, and I'm sorry to hear about your diabetes lol

That was an awesome little experience! Your artwork is amazing, and putting the little song together was a lot of fun. Great work!

I loved the artwork! Great game once I got into it.

The artwork was awesome! good work!

Very well presented game! I enjoyed the flying once I got the hang of it. Great job!

I am glad to hear this was intended to be a rage game haha. Great job, very simple and well delivered!

I played this for so long I honestly froze the game for a solid 10-15sec at one point. Great game, and very original!

I really appreciate your feedback, and I agree. I had very mixed feelings about the audio, and I'll be sure to keep a close eye on my levels for the next game that I create!

I was stuck on the last day without any way of communicating to the player how meals could be prepared, and I ended up rushing the design of the cookbook. To your point, I think that a trial-and-error cookbook would have been the most enjoyable, but I simply ran out of time.

Thank you for the thorough review!

I really appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!

haha I got a kick out of your comment! Thanks for giving it a shot!

What an interesting puzzle! Despite solving a couple, I did not fully understand what exactly was triggering what. Great job!

Normally I dislike when a game doesn't include music, however this was a PERFECT circumstance to not include any. Hearing nothing aside from the storm raging outdoors really helped set the atmosphere, and sell the loneliness that the character would be experiencing. Great job!

I really appreciate that. I wasn't super confident in it, so it's reassuring to hear you liked it.

After playing your entry, I'm excited to see what else you create moving forward! I thought your music and art were really great. Followed you to ensure I don't miss anything haha

Once I got the hang of the controls, I had a lot of fun swooping around and feeding! The visuals were my favourite part. Good job!

I absolutely loved the hand drawn art. Great work!

The art was by far my favourite part of the process! thanks!

This entry felt very polished. Short and sweet!

Thank so much for the resource!

I loved this entry. Very fast-paced and I would say perfectly balanced in terms of difficulty. Actually made me plug in my mouse for this one! Great job, fellow solo-jammer!

I was not expecting that! haha Awesome work!

This was such a joy to play! I have nothing but good things to say about this entry. Great job, especially for a team of only 2 people!

Okay I am so pumped to discuss this! haha. Yes, I wrote it and just improvised all the piano and bass parts. I couldn't play it again even if I wanted to lol. I write nothing but cinematic orchestral music, so I never even considered writing something jazzy, but I was scrolling shorts while making this game (efficient use of time) and came across Chico Hamilton's Miss Movement. It felt so chaotic and perfect for this game, so I truly just listened to it on repeat until I figured out some of the patterns. Definitely not the best way to learn, but it ended up working for me! I'm really glad you liked it, because I had seriously mixed feelings over it, which is what prompted me to add my first-ever mute button LOL.

Thank you for mentioning art and music! Those are my specialties haha. But yes, you're totally right that the game would have benefited from some sort of twist/progression. I appreciate the feedback!

You're absolutely right. The game doesn't progress in difficulty aside from a couple extra ingredients, which is something I will definitely work on in future jams. Thanks for the feedback!

I had considered how to make the cookbook simple to use while also chewing up a bit of time for the player to access, but I agree that I could have done it better. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you so much for that! I had so much fun doing the art for this game. I agree with the UI organization, I always seem to have issues with it 😅

I love the visuals, and the puzzles were pleasantly difficult. Great job!

I really enjoyed the artwork and gameplay, however the audio was a bit much with the non-stop clucking haha. Great job!

Once I got the cobwebs out of my head, I really enjoyed your game! Very visually pleasing as well. Awesome work, despite having a team of 0 people! lol

haha All my solo games are hand drawn, so this one kind of broke my heart to make. However, 3D was a personal goal of mine, and I'm undecided if I'll do it again anytime soon lol..

I'm blown away by how much your team accomplished within this timeframe. I imagine you all worked super efficiently + some late nights haha. Fantastic entry!
