Saves from the alpha days or from demos before the new version 1.01 (just added and hopefully more compatible) might cause many issues errors and bugs.  Lots of things have changed over development and this can cause the newest version to react poorly to old saves.

It's always safest to start clean saves with new builds.

I just updated the demo, so hopefully saves cross from the new demo!
