This was pretty great! My only gripe is that we cant really jump with Space while also hitting W. Made controlling it feel a bit weird but after the first 2 checkpoints I got the hang of it.

Besides that little thing, art was incredible. The first little cutscene was cool and the premise is pretty good! Could totally see this being a foddian-like game with a  boss at the end after each door.

Good stuff!

Gamepad worked really well. This was great!

Some little dust kick-ups or juicing would make this thing so much more satisfying than it already is.

Felt super intense after a few speed boosts and loved it.

Vibe was perfect. Switching between the characters for their strengths/weaknesses was so cool! Amazing submission.

I wish this game was getting more attention. I loved it!

I could totally see this working with more time. Like you start with a drop of 50 cubes, maybe 10 are needed to open a door, 25 to active a jump pad, and at least 20 for the goal to work. Lots of potential! Super well optimized as well. I was totally ready to see some lag spikes as I collected more cubes but I hit that thing like 9 times before going for the goal and it was smooth as butter.

Would have loved to see some more sound effects while the cubes were being dropped into the bucket as thats the serotonin I need, but I could have played hours of these levels without noticing.

Super well done!

Wow this was sweet! Intro cutscene, the links ACTUALLY WORKED. Sound effects were great. The 10 year old me was internally panicking about the health of the family computer all over again! Loved this.

As others have mentioned, the mac upload looks like just the project export and not playable. I tried running the Windows exe through Parallels but it crashed within a couple seconds before the game could load.

The screenshots look so cool too, I was looking forward to playing!

Challenging but good bones for something great! Little bit of juicing and the wands would be even more fun to use. Awesome job!

Super unique! Amazing job for your first game and amazing that you did all the sprites and music on your own! Ran well, menus worked, doesn't get better than that. :D

Great idea! Sound effects were really satisfying. Could totally see this being an order-based-food game. Different sizes, different toppings, sides, managing the amount of kernels coming in and out. Lot of potential!

Fantastic work on the color-grading! I could have walked around this world for awhile.

Solid work on the menus! I think a big thing that would have kept me playing longer would have been a timer to show how much of the day was left. Enjoyed the music :D

Bummer! There is a Windows export that you could try as well. Although that may be more intensive on the machine.  😔 Appreciate the rating nonetheless!

As others have commented. The race itself is too slow. It would look like slot cars if it was sped up! Music is sweet and game looks really nice all around. Cool premise!

I struggled a bit in the beginning, mostly because one of the pieces is off screen and I missed in the description (more than once embarrassingly) that we had the ability to move the camera.

But all around, good stuff! The idea for the game is solid in my opinion and would totally play that.

Loved yeeting my dog at the wolves to protect the flock. Awesome way to interpret the theme! Music reminded me a lot of Conker's Bad Fur Day (good thing :D)

Amazing use of the theme! The randomness of the kids once they were too far was very realistic haha.

I had this same idea when I first read the theme! ;D

Great job, lot of love went into this and it shows. My only suggestion is that tornado should be spinning more!

Game looked incredibly cool and felt like something I've been playing for a lifetime. The menus were scaled a bit wonky in full screen but it didn't detract from the experience.

The world was so cool to wander around in, I forgot the objective at times! Really really cool game.

Simple and original! The voice lines cracked me up the first time. Best time I got was 53!

I am not a foddian seeker but I love games with swinging! I only made it to the first roll and couldn't get the 3rd fan to throw me far enough before I gave up, but everything was super polished and the art style was awesome and unique. Even down to the menu animations, super impressed.

Challenging but satisfying to finally reach that flag. The hit boxes for the rocks were a little unforgiving in my opinion but its clear everything was paced to be tricky.

A huge thing that would have made this feel a lot more polished would be to change the Stretch mode in the project settings to "viewport". Then the score text would be in the actual corner and we wouldn't be able to see the edges of the background.

Great fast play though!

I think a ranged weapon that couldn't be spammed would make this game shine! Music was a little chill for the chaos but I had fun.

Learning that the hazards can hurt the enemies too was crucial for me haha.

Making a one-key game is bold! Very challenging. If it had some scoring system I definitely would have stuck around for a couple hundred more waves.

The sound effects and animations were super satisfying. The bird SFX were a bit out-of-place as it appeared like a desert area to me, but cool nonetheless!

Awesome presentation and sound design. Cool concept!

I made it to wave 50 but only because I forgot that we can move the dice after placing them haha. Super polished and would love to see the waves capped off with a boss and then move to another level. Totally would play again.

"You did your best" hits me right in the gut 😭

Cool concept! The lofi music felt a little out of place considering everything was flying around but it didn't detract from the experience! :D

I loved that we could literally throw the envelopes into the sorting bins.

This game would do well with the full screen option for the HTML player, though, as there were too many fruits/shapes that looked very similar being so small and similar colors.

I also think having some more upbeat, not-chill music would have made the atmosphere a little more hectic as I was a bit confused at the envelope pacing with the chilled out lofi when I started.

Good stuff!

Played for over 8 minutes! Rotating the pieces would have kept me playing a lot longer. Or having a Tetris-esc goal that can be achieved like having 10+ cubes triggers some sort of board wipe would have been cool.

Nice job, though!

Agree heavily with what grantlerr said. As well as something simple like wait a bit longer before closing the roll results as I feel like I barely had enough time to see what happened.

Pretty cool looking though, has the bones to be something even cooler.

Story and music gave some real Adventure Time vibes!

The vibe and job reminded me a lot of MDR's sorting in Severance haha! Typing to identify the shapes was pretty tricky, I think just making something simpler like a right-click to identify may have been more accessible, at least for early waves.

I enjoyed looking at this game and feeling like I was doing some entry-level organizing!

Great game! My only gripe was that I couldn't seem to pause to go back and try the other levels easily.

Great vibe and good idea for a game! Music was super fitting and the graphics and art were sweet! However, I did get stuck often enough, and not being able to restart easily made things a bit more frustrating than the standard foddians haha. Good work overall!

Super polished! I wish there was a way to defend against the whales like feeding them a fish willingly. As well as being able to stop paddlin' in front of the icebergs as to not lose the penguins placements so easily. But I enjoyed this a lot! I think it would do well with a mobile release.

So simple but well done! I could see myself playing this for awhile on mobile. I love that it synced up to the music occasionally. Made me want to see a music-based version of this!

Art and animations were awesome! Took me a minute to grasp who was who and what to do but after I got it, was pretty satisfying to win! The pacing of the upgrades and troops was balanced very well.

I went into this not really expecting to like it but man, I was I wrong. Very polished and well thought out. More sound effects on the buying and selling and I would have been sucked in for awhile.

Adding WASD as a movement option would make this much easier to control. But the look of the game is really cool, specially in full screen! Even though there were no hints towards what the controls were, the little popup to show what each spell does is pretty much all I needed to get going. Pretty cool!

That's unfortunate but it sounds really cool! I'll have to come back and try it when you get it working. :D

Appreciate the play! :D

Very cute and fun! Great work!

Really love the look and aesthetics! UI is neat and tidy as well.
