Two quick questions about this beautiful set.
1. How many sample maps are included for RPG Maker?
2. What character sprites do you recommend that would go with this set? Would RTP work?
Thanks!
Easily add a custom command to the menu in RPG Maker MZ that triggers a Common Event when selected. Whether you're creating a crafting system, prayer mechanic, quest log, have a need to display an image, activate a HUD, or anything else—this plugin gives you a clean, intuitive way to integrate it into the core menu.
No scripting knowledge required—just plug and play.
Hello!
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you find it interesting! The seasons will show the town changing as the player has an influence over it. The game opens during winter with the town mostly closed up, and abandoned due to the kidnappings. New seasons bring hope and light to the town, with the player also restoring it.
The seasons will also affect the woods where the main battles take place, with each season having different sets of monsters and enemies you'll face. Winter themed monsters during snowstorms etc.
As for the retro style, it's really about bringing that nostalgic look to the game, while also having modern features that players are used to. Auto saving, character creation, etc. In the same way that a game like Stardew Valley does it so well.
I hope you'll give the game a play when it's released!
If you're looking for a retro style game where you can explore a sandbox city, work jobs, help Santa Claus, and complete murder for hire jobs.. then you might have found the right game.
Check out Debt City on itch, and head over to the Kickstarter to preorder it for only $10!
An open world RPG with 10 different classes to choose from, 1 evil cult to defeat, & 1 massive world to explore. Coming soon to Steam.
Back the game on Kickstarter to reserve your early access copy for as low as $10! Check it out here on Kickstarter, and here on Itch.
I'm having the same problem. I don't think MZ is causing the problem. I'm on 1.6.1 and in the template demo it works fine. Yet in my project it lags until it's completely frozen. I actually think its the latest Visustella plugins. Because when I disabled them in my project, the lag dropped considerably. It still lagged but not bad, and it allowed me to actually close it. I can't even close the relationship window when the Core and Events Move plugins are enabled. I would rollback my plugin versions but I'm afraid of breaking the other scripts in this pack.
EDIT: I tried copying the original plugin files from the template demo and it's still lagging. Yet the demo itself doesn't lag. I'm puzzled.
Hello Caz! Just purchased this pack and already love it. It took me a few hours to get it working. I spent about an hour with the crops not growing, failing to realize I needed to edit the map teleport inside the Overnight Crop Growth event lol. Now it's working fine.. except for one weird issue. When watering one crop, they are all watered at once automatically. It's weird because I've copied over everything exactly. Can't figure out why this is happening. No matter how many crops are planted, watering one instantly waters them all. Any ideas how I fix this?
A little late to update but Knightblade is available on Google Play!
I'm also looking forward to the SciFi Modern RTP. I can't wait to make a life-sim or GTA style game with it. I have so many ideas. lol In the mean time I'm working on using the current Pixel Fantasy set for a project. Maybe your farming templates too. Amazing work as always Caz.
PS: For your farming template the RTP sprites were edited so they can use the tools. Would it be possible to add the tools to the Pixel Fantasy sprites as well?
I just checked, they are not compatible sadly. XP uses 32x32 sprites but with an extra animation. There are converters that can convert the sprites from VX and to XP and they work fine after I did that. But the tilesets are another story. XP uses one sheet for an entire tileset, no more than 256 wide. The only way I could get it to work, was to use another converter I found that runs inside MV and converts the MV tilesets into XP. It pops out one sheet and it does work, but sadly the auto tiles don't work. No water at all.
In Beast Slayer, you will embark on a thrilling adventure in an 8-bit open world where monsters roam free. As a skilled hunter, your mission is to track down and defeat the most dangerous beasts, each with its own unique strengths and weaknesses. With 8 different classes (and genders) to choose from, with varying skills and spells, each time you play will be different. You'll be able to create the character of your dreams. Plus you get to feel the retro nostalgia as you listen to an epic 8-bit soundtrack while flying on the wings of a dragon.
Hey, awesome looking set as always! How do the side view battlers function in RPG Maker? Are they animated like the players characters, or designed to be static like the default monsters/enemies? I ask because I'd like to use some as enemies, and some as the players party members (which you can't do with the default ones as they are just flat images, and too big compared to the characters).
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to let you know my next game has been officially announced, and a campaign is underway. My new game is a cyberpunk open world RPG titled "Neopunk". I can't wait to share more with you soon! Here's the page on itch, and here is where you can preorder the game now.
Step into a cyberpunk world of the future. Start a new life as an agender mercenary who moves to the dark and neon lit streets of Kaanalos City. Choose your AI companion boyfriend or girlfriend, and pick up your gun: you'll need it. Help solve murders for the KCPD. Take on assassination contracts for the mob. Learn the secret dealings of Baxter Corp, the megacorp that controls the city. Or just deal drugs and hire prostitutes (or use the drugs yourself and kill the prostitutes to rob them). Freedom awaits you in Neopunk. Who will you be?
Thanks for your support!
