Hmm, is there a way to skip the intro?

I got the egg on 9. It was the spamming of meteors that made the level frustrating.

That level 10 egg is tricky. I'll have to play the game again.

Thanks!

If the physics on the breakable blocks were fixed, I could recommend it. Plus, level 9 was cruel and I can't figure out how to get the egg on level 10.

Is there a stage select for replaying levels to get missing eggs?

Short but sweet.

The physics makes this game not enjoyable. It's hard to control and the platforming is too precise. The player is also huge and the platforms are small. Worst of all, you bounce off walls.

Also, the timing of moving platforms work against you and it's a timed game. Enemies can't be killed either.

I enjoy the concept and art style but it's too frustrating to try to beat.

I'll forgive the close-to-troll levels like 7 but why can't I attack while jumping? =(

Your games are adorable and fun. Keep up the good work!

Too hard to understand to even start. Probably fun for more patient/thought-provoking players but not for me.

I finished the game with all stars (including bonus levels). Very enjoyable.

I like this game a lot but there really needs something explaining that there's a wall jump. It's not in the game or description and there's no level that uses it for the main path until Y. It's also not easy to use. Level U is a nightmare to get the star.

One other complaint I have is how slowly cofferoids get destoryed (depsite max upgrades) compared to how many are spawned.

I did see a marked improvement in the game once I unlocked Flow. It feels like that is what I what was supposed to get first but I always get Damage and Magnet upgrades first...

I finished the Prologue and added it to my Steam Wishlist. All the best for your release!

I really liked this game but I maxed out the Magnet upgrade but it is still way too weak. Seeds also take a few seconds to even react to it. =(

What does the Casino in the first screen do? My items don't seem to increase when I match 3.

Why do the mushrooms in the first stage of screen 2 hurt when you jump on them? They don't have spikes...

I'm excited for the game's release based on what I've played so far.

I am a bit confused/disappointed by the map layout though. Why is World 1 further away than World 3? I assume you can play levels in any order?

Will there be a health upgrade available? Two health is not much.

In level 22 especially, for some reason the TNT crates bounce and they hurt Dino (not from the explosion).

(1 edit)

In level 22, I can only find 50 out of the 51 crates. Other than that, I've found all the crates and eggs. =)

BTW, the level design has been good enough not to really need it but a look up/down feature might help in completionist runs.

One last thing (hopefully) is another oddity. I got 42/41 crates in level 19 somehow =)

(1 edit)

In level 18, those crates that appear when you press the ! block aren't springy enough for me to make it to the treetop to access the two crates. (EDIT: I managed to get the game to launch me from the middle block to the last block and backtrack)

In general, the hit boxes and springiness of crates is not consistent but those especially.

(1 edit)

Yeah, the spring bug in level 22 is happening every single time. I try to avoid it to get the last two crates but there's not enough room to maneuver. EDIT: I managed to push the TNT block over a bit more and get the thorn spring to fall down.

*crying* In level 27, Rolleo will get stuck on the wall when the mine cart crashes against it and become non-interactive unless you are with him in the cart when it happens. This occurs both on-screen and off-screen. This, of course, means you can't finish the level as you need him to unlock the exit door.

...I'm having a bad run it would seem. The "thwomps" (square spike enemies) are on "strike" (ie they're not moving. It caused me to sacrifice on health in level 21 but in level 22, it means I can't pass the level as it's blocking the only path forward.

I may have to play this game later. My PC isn't handling how much memory it uses anyway.

Ooh, I remembered one more minor annoyance: The last line of dialogue of any NPC seems to get cut off when using Enter to fast-forward. (ie one press to show all text, two presses to move to the next part). So, you can't show full text on the last line. A way to speed up dialogue text would be handy too.

I've encountered a weird bug. On level 22, there a spot you can push a TNT block to the left to blow up some thorns and there's a mushroom spring underneath. Hitting the spring will make Dino disappear but still be able to move. Like he's above/below the world. It's happened twice in a row so far.

Also, a not game-breaking bug (in fact it's cute): sometimes when Dino gets hit by an enemy, they'll become half-sized for a few seconds. Nothing mechanically changes, just the size.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it immensly, especially with all the Early Access scams out in the world.

After the boss fight with Ptrevor the Pterenodon, the leaping fish will still hurt you as you're talking to him. This will cause you to die and softlock the level, requiring you to restart the level.

I'm going to have to come back to this topic. I know it's in Early Access, so it's good to catch all the bugs before release.

I'm dealing with a progress blocking bug. In level 21, there's 3 mushroom springs next to a series of TNT crates. On first visit, the 2 large ones stay put and a small one drops down onto the platform above. This will allow you to progress into the rest of the level. If you die, however, the small drops between the 2 large ones, making progress impossible.

This is just a single-level skirmish, right? No story or campaign.

Nothing wrong with that btw. Just clarifying.

Quick update: turns out I didn't need a double-jump to pass the level. I needed to jump on those afore-mentioned undefined treetops.

However, I still couldn't bounce on the crate stairs for some reason. Nor have I found any keys.

Is there a walkthrough available? I'm up to level 18 which appears to need a double jump I don't have.

I have yet to find any keys, so if it's locked behind one of the locks, I'm stuck.

Feedback: I wish the tops of trees had more clearly defined platform areas.

It may be buggy too. Hitting more than one enemy in one slash only counts as one kill.

I can't get past the 13 door. Only 12 enemies show up and the combo counter resets too quickly.

The mechanics need to be explained. For example, does my counter reset for each room? Why do only certain enemies respawn? etc etc.

Nothing to write home about. I finished the current build in about 5 minutes. I would definitely not pay for this game.

Is there any benefit to collecting all the yellow gems other than for completionist's sake?

Also, is there a spike shield powerup in Polyrolyopolis 2? It seems odd if there isn't.

I would prefer a pause after star spears rather than have to dash in a split second.

Other than that, it's an enjoyable start to a game.

How do I earn Charisma or Trust?

I did figure it out but a tooltip something would help.

I finished the game. It has just enough challenge to be fun without being annoying.

(1 edit)

I wish the counter was around the bird so I could see when it's going to happen rather than darting my eyes back and forth. It's pretty fun otherwise.

EDIT: I turned on the sound but the sound doesn;t indicate how much time is left, just that it's counting down. Maybe a rising scale would work instead?

Can you explain some of the mechanics? Like the stopwatches, for example.

Will there be a downloadable version in the future? This game well runs 98% of the time but I'd like to try this on PC. With an exportable save too.

Thanks! I do see that in the game description.
Now I need to find out what the 3 dots in level 2-1 are and how to go up past the Exit door.
