Excellent work. Probably my favorite of the submissions. Just the right amount of frustration. The progress saves were well placed. Music and sounds effects were well done. Controls for the most part were good. A little finicky in some places with wall jumping. Level design was interesting. Wasn't sure what the story was, but I liked the train.

Aside from the debug overlay, the premise seems interesting. I unfortunately, had a really hard time with the controls. Could just be me, but it was quite frustrating. I think with a bit of tweaking this could be something though. Solid effort.

It's funny, it seems we landed on the same idea of keyboard co-op with similar controls. I like the jubilant nature of the character movement, although this made it tough to get through small openings. Maybe make those bigger. I liked the puzzles. Very chill game. Good work.

This was one of my favorite entries. I loved the concept, the settings, the characters, and the gameplay for the most part. Rough around the edges, which is expected for a game jam. I did have a hard time with the boss. That is what could be worked on the most. Also the jumping on the pillars was a bit fidgety. Excellent work.

My ratings are mostly based on what I saw from game play from others. My old ass system couldn't hack it. Sorry. This seems like something I'd love to play. I hope you turn it into something and get it optimized. I'll definitely play it.

I enjoyed this overall.  The shopping as a combat mechanic is interesting. I would have liked the items to have descriptions. Other suggestions for improvement would be being able to attack in all directions, some type of map, and some more sound effects. I would also add a little more visual and audio feedback when Navi is touching those sprites (or whatever they are). It wasn't obvious that that was accomplishing anything important. Boss fights were fun, although it was easy to neuter them by trapping them around rocks. For a game jam though this was well done.

Beautiful looking game. The concept is promising and could easily be fleshed out into a full game. I like the idea of a quirky, buddy dragon game. I, like others, had difficulty with controlling Wiry. I found the controls in general to be rather clunky, which made my progress quite cumbersome. Sound could use a lot of work. That beautiful artwork would be brought to life with some scenery sound and some music especially. But given the time restraints, you accomplished a great deal. Solid Submission.

Yeah it definitely needs a bigger collision area.

Thanks for playing!

Spoiler: The boxes will fall down, which you can use to injure the robot. Takes 3 hits. It's pretty difficult though if you're playing single player. I actually accidentally uploaded a previous build. The robot was supposed to have 1 hp on easy, 2 on normal, and 3 on hard in addition to a win screen instead of looping. That's what I get for uploading so close to deadline.

Yeah tell me about it. Solo dev here. No friends, haha.

Got it. I agree. Thanks

Thanks for playing! Can you explain a bit more what you mean by slippery? I'd love the feedback.

The Price Is Death is an homage to The Running Man (1987) and the game Smash TV, which was similarly inspired. I had hoped to include funny announcer voices similar to Smash TV, but was short of time. I'll likely add them in the future.

Good luck everyone!
