Thanks for playing! I'm not sure of anyone else reaching the boss so good job! And good point, I just finished adding that and will update the page shortly.
Yeah this version could be way better. It was back when I was brand new to the OUYA and made it during a jam. I could possibly make a new version for the jam that's about to start
As long as the canvas is 64x64, can things like text be displayed on top of the canvas? It's a lot easier to draw text and buttons using HTML but I was wondering if that is against the rules. thx!
That's great haha. I think this game is missing the hostile environment found at the lower levels of the original game. Also the boss battle and story elements.
TBH I haven't touched this game since I released it on here. I'm not sure why it's had such a surge of views recently but it's making me want to get the project going again and at least add some of the features people are suggesting. Hopefully I can do that soon!
Yeah I went ahead and ordered one actually lol. I'm just hoping there will be more Ouya jams in the future. Not to mention I have no idea how to develop android apps.
yeah... in hindsight I would've liked to incorporate it much more. But thanks! I agree on the UI side too, that's another area that I would have loved to of spent more time on.
The music and concept were really cool! It also used the theme well. It reminded me a lot of the game Geometry wars which was really fun. I think it could have used a bit more sound effects/polish but I understand it was in 3 days so not really a big deal.
Does this need to be a standalone game executable or can it be Web based? Are all game engines supported? Windows or Mac? Sorry if this is posted somewhere I couldn't find any info.
Edit: Well it says it needs to come from a .zip so I'm assuming executable but I wonder about Windows vs. Mac
