so, we're running into a bit of a hiccup. These ha dhelds are mostly only 1GB of RAM and have allwinner H700 CPUs. Not super powerful. The first level is kind of chugging... is there anyway you could maybe open the game files and use UTMT to remove some effects so its easier for it to run smoothly?
I don't really have time to do anything at the moment. I'm planning on updating the game eventually (hopefully this year) so I could just make some optimisations later down the line.
Probably for the best you wait for that, unless you have any other solutions you can do.
Otherwise, good luck with whatever else you decide to port!
I think im going to have to try to use GMS and texture atlases. Maybe do some other things like creating an alarm and deactivating unnecessary objects. Activating nearly objects only. See if that helps. I've been told to eo this only. I actually have no idea HOW to do these things. But chatgpt will hopefully help. Lol
I've already used TextureRepacked.cvx in UTMT and it didn't do a whole lot. So if I wanna get this game ported, there may be a lot of work ahead of me.
I'm getting a bit of oress for what's going on with this game. Do you think you'll be able to make your rooms smaller, set alarms, lessen the amount if textures, comoress audios, anything you can to make this less heavy on the weaker rk3326 and H700 devices? I need that data.win, and ither game files from you! Let's get this on to PoetMaster, my dude! I'm so close!
