I don't know why but the game doesn't open until i turn off all the video settings and when it opens, I can't see anything on the screen, it's just black. Does anyone know what causes this? It hasn't even been a year since I bought my pc. and im sure the problem is not related to it.

Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode for older Windows systems? I'm not sure what causes it either, but I'll do my best to help you.

I'm getting the same thing. I'm on Windows 11. The screen was completely black for me the first time, but I could walk around. The other two times I tried to load the game it would crash immediately on me

Hmm, I think I could help provide a fix, but it's a bit complicated.

Could you open the file named setup.ini in the game's folder using NotePad? There should be a line that says:

dividetexturesize=2

Change 2 to 4, I hope it fixes the crashing.
