Hello, fellow game creators and farm fanatics!
If you’re here, you probably remember the spark that started with FarmJam.
In 2023, around 150 creative folks joined us to put a new spin on farming games, and the response was beyond anything we could’ve expected!
Then, in the first 2024 jam, over 225 people jumped in to make it even bigger.
By the second 2024 jam and the first 2025 one, we were already hitting 250+ participants—our biggest yet.
This Year’s Main Theme: Forests
Whether you’re looking to make a wholesome farming sim, a wild farming RPG, or something completely unexpected (farming horror, anyone?), we’re ready to see what you’ve got.
Bring your unique ideas, quirky mechanics, and fresh takes on forest farm life. Let’s show the gaming world how endless the possibilities can be when you mix dirt, trees, and chaos.
I’m a huge fan of couch co-op and farming games—my wife and I play them together often, even when they’re single-player.
We’ve noticed: there really isn’t much out there that goes off the beaten path. Let’s change that.
Last year, we doubled the jam time from 15 days to 30 days, and we’re keeping it!
Now, I did mention co-op—it’s totally optional, but if you wanna build a 2-player experience, go for it.
No pressure.

Mandatory Requirements:

Farm Themed: Your game should be all about that farm life—crops, animals, and rural charm.
The setting and style? Totally up to you. Sci-fi, horror, fantasy, bird’s-eye, first-person—do whatever you like. The only must? It needs growable crops or raiseable animals (or both). -
Day/Night OR Season System: Give your game some rhythm. Either a day/night cycle or seasons to shake things up.
A HUGE list will be provided of secret requirements 24 hours before the jam. You will have to choose 1, or choose 2 if not doing the secret theme. If 2 are chosen, please include that in the theme score upon voting time.

As usual, the secret twist theme will be revealed before the jam—and it’ll be voted on in the Discord.
