A solid platformer! The colors were used, and the theme was incorporated, although it could have been explored a bit deeper.
The game itself played well, with a nice progression in difficulty and all the standard platforming elements you’d expect. The controls worked fine for me, with very few missteps or missed jumps.
The music was good when it played (it stopped), and the sound effects added to the atmosphere of the game.
Self made art was good. Maybe some extra VFX or animations would even make it more polished.
All in all, a solid jam entry—great job! 😊
Good job making a full game.
Nice little platformer.
I think it is a shame that you didn't explore the theme from a more mechanical point of view.
Good job on adding sound effects and background music.
Nice game, great controls and level design, a great entry and good point of view with the theme, love so much this entry x3
Nice controls, very nice sound effects, good level design. Too bad there wasn't really the theme incorporated more into it. Plus the music loop as mentioned. But I really enjoyed it regardless.
The controls are well implemented and good use of sound effects. The mechanics are the usual mechanics of the platformer genre, without incorporating the jam theme other than alternating some of the graphics between levels, but it's well made.
Pretty tight platforming. Nothing to complain about with the controls really. Perhaps a bit easy, some harder levels towards the end could have helped. Somebody else already pointed out the music loop issue, but the sound effects were nice. Genuinely laughed at the evil Kirby sprites.
The perspective switch was cool. Reminded of a certain Samurai Jack episode.
simple platformer making good use of the colors.
some pointers
Your music stopped halfway trough probably forgot to loop it,
I know its hard to do in a short time but some animation of the player/s could have helped to elevate it just that little bit
It was fun it play, but i did kind of mis the two points of view, i understand you switch between the characters but just switching doesn't feel "two pointy view" for me. But of course that is personal preference
is funny
